Загороднюк Андрій Васильович – доктор фізико-математичних наук, професор, завідувач кафедри, завідувач спільної з Інститутом прикладних проблем механіки і математики імені Я.С. Підстригача НАН України Лабораторії нелінійного функціонального аналізу.
Народився 09.07.1967 р. в м. Винники, Львівської області.
Закінчив Львівський державний університет ім. Івана Франка у 1993 р. за спеціальністю «Математика та інформатика».
Навчався в аспірантурі Інституту прикладних проблем механіки і математики
ім. Я.С. Підстригача НАН України (м. Львів).
Захистив у 1997р. дисертацію на здобуття наукового ступеня кандидата фізико-математичних наук за спеціальністю 01.01.01 – «математичний аналіз» на тему «Умови неперервності поліноміальних операторів та структура ядра поліноміальних функціоналів на банахових просторах».
У 2007 році захистив докторську дисертацію на тему «Простори та алгебри поліноміальних і аналітичних відображень на банахових просторах».
